sleepy time soon

Today was a good day. My last herb class was good, as we went over lavendar and chamomile, as well as covering some aspects of pregnancy and what herbs are good for that. Lavendar tea tastes exactly like it smells, while chamomile is hard to describe. I'm slowly developing a taste for tea though, hopefully it will continue to improve.

Shopping was great fun, especially at the scary/amusing stuff for sale at some stores. At A&F, you can buy jeans that are not only pre-stressed, but have holes in the knees already. I picked up a nice purple shirt on sale, a new speedo swimsuit (one piece, black/purple/teal), some undergarments for the wedding, and a present for teh ezzie00. We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, which had decent food but the waitress was not good at all. Lots of fun. :)

Came home, paid bills and stuff, then we got Moulin Rouge on Payperview. It was excellent - I was expecting it to be amusing, but not "good." Even Ezzie liked it, and he's now wandering around the house singing (he wants Ewan MacGregor's voice). Yet again I'm struck at how beautiful Nicole Kidman is, even after at least 15 years acting she is gorgeous. Ewan is nice to look at too. ;)

To-do list for tomorrow:
-repot tomato plants
-clean cat box
-update webpage
-pull out car stereo and check connections
-order books from Amazon
-go to Sears with Ezzie to look at shirts and lawnmowers
-prime and begin to paint miniatures

I'm convinced Moulin Rouge is one of those movies that most people will either hate or love. (Of course, I have to be the exception to my own rule, but I think I would have fallen squarely into the 'love' category had I gotten more of the song references, and/or if they'd kept up some of the manically silly stuff they'd had at the beginning.)

And a hearty agreement on Nicole Kidman - oh yes. Mmm. (yes, I know you didn't mean it *that* way :)

Well, you can have Nicole if I can have Ewan. ;)
